Age Suitability

Who Tofy is for. Tofy is a learning app for children from pre-kindergarten to 6th grade (ages 4–12), used under a parent's guidance. The child answers curriculum questions (math, Hebrew, English, science, history, geography, reading comprehension and more) and earns play minutes in the apps the parent chose. The Kids age band chosen on the App Store, 6–8, is the middle of that range.

How content fits the age. Every question is tagged to the Israeli Ministry of Education curriculum (pre-K–6) and served only to the matching grade; three difficulty levels adapt to the child; pre-readers get read-aloud questions and numbered answers; a wrong answer gets a hint and the answer, never failure language.

What the app does not have. No social media, no chat, no messaging, no user-generated content shown to others. "Friends" are children linked by a parent-shared code; only a first name, a cartoon avatar and a score are shown, and a parent can see and remove any friend. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics. No purchase on a child's device: every payment (family subscription or a single world) happens on the parent's device behind the parent code; a child can only tap "ask a parent". No external links or open web browsing. An optional chore photo is visible only to the family's parents and is deleted after approval.

Parental controls. Parents choose which apps stay locked until minutes are earned, the daily cap, which topics are open and at what level, and see a progress report. Every setting sits behind the parent code.
